Why I Weep

The latest book published by Hadassah's Crown couldn't be more appropriate for "such a time as this." While the author, Rev. Anthony J. Sims, shares many reasons he finds to weep, violence and police killings of unarmed citizens are at the forefront. The book is a reflection on Jeremiah 9:1, which reads, “Oh, that my head were a spring of water and my eyes a fountain of tears! I would weep day and night for the slain of my people.”

Description

Some say that a man isn’t supposed to cry. It’s even been said that it shows weakness in a man to cry. But Luke 19:41 says that Jesus wept. Looking at how things are happening in the world today, weeping is a natural response. Psalm 30:5 reminds us that "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." The Bible offers solutions for every health threat, social ill or challenge we may encounter. This publication teaches readers how to apply these scriptures and live a fruitful life that pleases God.
