Hadassah's Crown July Update


The long, hot days of summer are here, and Hadassah’s Crown Publishing is turning the thermostat up with numerous, steamy literary events.


The events are as follows:

  • Soon, Oh, To Be a Bulldog, the children's book about SC State University, will be released.

  • Hadassah's Crown will continue to support Minister Yashica Allen Lee in the promotion of her new book, Grief That Grips The Heart.

  • We will kick off the Dollar General Summer Reading Program for the Hope Center for Children on Sunday, July 1st

  • Two new titles, Under the Tree, a children’s book by Tonya Woods and illustrated by Lyric Evans, and Training Manual: Leading God’s People by Rudolph Burdett, Jr. will be released.

  • Previously published children's book titles will be sold at the 2018 Soulful Chicago Book Fair on July 15th.


  • The BIG DREAM presentation will be made to campers at Club Edge at The Littlejohn Community Center in Clemson, SC on Tuesday, July 17th.

  • Oh, To Be a Bulldog will be promoted at the SC State University Alumni Association's Convention in DC (July 27-28).

  • A curriculum guide to accompany Ulysses Cunningham, A Friend to Man: The Story of a Soldier and a Steward will be released in August.

  • Dr. Leverette will serve as a youth presenter to "The Challengers" (grades 6-8) on August 1st at the AME 7th District Christian Education and Leadership Conference at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, SC.

  • Hadassah's Crown will present at the Youth Summit at The Zone in Clinton, SC at 9:00 AM on Saturday, August 4th.

  • Hadassah's Crown will be accepting manuscripts of all genres beginning July 15. Please share this information with authors and future authors who you know that might be interested.
